Chairman Imran Khan has stated that the law enforcing agencies have failed to
prevent violence and damage to both public and private property in the Karachi riots which has disrupted life in the city. Incidents of firing have been reported across various cities all over the province including Sukkur, Hyderabad, Nawabshah and Mirpurkhas. Karachi University has announced postponement of all examinations scheduled for today. Routine economic activity has been disrupted as the shops were forced to close down following the firing in several residential and commercial areas of Karachi
